rhetoric is usually used in a persuasive way, or in an explanatory way.
In our rhetorical analysis we will use the song money by Pink Floyd. In the context of a song as an artifact rhetorical analysis would be used to find the reason why the artist wrote the song. When we think of this song as a rhetorical text, we view it as a message. We will differ from a traditional literature text by looking at other aspects of the song as well such as sounds, tempo, or tone.
